The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said it is unperturbed by calls for a live telecast of the NPPs case at the Supreme Court.
The NPP has filed a petition at the Supreme Court challenging the results of the just ended Presidential Elections.
According to the NDC, it has nothing to hide and believes the NPPs case is just one of several tactics it intends using, to protest after losing at the Supreme Court.
General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia said the NPPs case will fall flat at the Supreme Court whether or not, the hearing is telecast.
I am happy that they had the courage to go to the Supreme Court. My only disappointment is that if you have belief in the Supreme Court, you dont have press conferences after you have filed the case and have the believe that the Court knows what it is doing, he stated.
Mr. Asiedu Nketia further disclosed, NPP is requesting we introduce cameras in the Court to take the proceedings. We dont have any problem with it if the Court decides that is what they want to do because a rose called by whatever name will still smell sweet. The facts are facts and they are all documented so if anyone has a problem with it, it is their own problem.
