Political parties involved in the ongoing Supreme Court case have been enjoined to educate their supporters to refrain from insults during political discussions.
The Wassa East District Director of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), Mr John Nyonator, made the appeal at a meeting at Daboase between the NCCE and the Inter-Parties Dialogue Committee.
The meeting was to deliberate on ways to preserve and sustain the peace in the country.
Mr Nyonator further called on the parties to restrain their supporters from using indecent language while the case was at the Supreme Court.
"We should recognise ourselves as one people with one destiny because we are all Ghanaians," he said.
Mr Nyonator, who spoke on the theme,"Advancing together", said, we need no one to inflame passions by their actions or omissions before, during and after the current hearing of the election petition.
