Former Minister of State under the Kufuor administration, Alhaji Mustapha Ali Idris has died while on admission at the 37 Military Hospital in the national capital, Accra.
The Former Northern regional Minister who died on Sunday, June 2, 2013 is reported to have been suffering from an undisclosed ailment in the past few weeks.
He will be buried on Monday, in the Northern regional capital, Tamale in line with Muslim tradition.
Alhaji Mustapha Idris was a senior member of the New Patriotic Party.
He served as a Works and Housing Minister and also as a Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister during his partys tenure in office.
