Prior to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Executive Congress to elect new national executive, Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong, advised delegates to vote against all 'old' executives who are seeking re-election including his party chairman Jake Obetsebi Lamptey.
He described the now former executives as corrupt and a bunch of greedy people whose interest is to siphon the partys resources for their parochial interest.
Surprisingly, outspoken Kennedy Agyapongs call to kick out all the executives has come to pass after the just ended national executive conference held in Tamale.
All the old executives seeking for re-election after Saturday's conference were kicked out of their offices in exception of the Womens Organizer of the elephant fraternity, Otiko Afisa Djaba.
Otiko polled 276 votes whilst Tina Mensah polled 250. Mawusi Awity came third with 113 votes.
Chairman Jake Obetsebi Lamptey polled a shocking 65 votes out of over 5200 votes cast by delegates.
Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie also lost his seat to Kwabena Agyapong.
