The process to prune down the number presidential Candidate aspirant from seven to five by delegates of the Special Electoral College of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) kicked off a few hours ago but voting has been stopped at the National Headquarters due to some misunderstandings.
According to Peace FM's Prince Ahinkan, voting has been halted for the second time in two hours because of what seems to be some disagreement with proxy voters.
The confusion started after the front runner in the President Candidate contest, Nana Akufo-Addo cast his vote.
The situation is, however being rectified by leaders of the party and the personnel of the Ghana Police from the Nima Division.
