Members of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Mfantseman District of the Central Region have called on government to as a matter of urgency, dismiss the District Chief Executive of the area.
Speaking to Peacefmonline.com in an interview, Alhaji Blakky, the Mfantseman East Constituency Chairman of the NDC stated that there was the need for President Mahama to expedite action for the replacement of Hon. Henry Kweku Hayfron due to his incompetence and negligence.
..we cannot work with Hon. Kweku Hayfron anymore and we are therefore calling on President Mahama to come for his DCE or else we will advise ourselves. He is a drunkard and is always sleeping on his job".
These comments come on the back of an earlier Press Conference in which he made similar scathing allegations against the Mfantseman DCE.
Hon. Henry Kweku Hayfron has however, declined responding to the claims but hinted that the pressure on him is part of a well orchestrated plan to get rid of him.
These allegations have always been made against me but they are not true, it is because of some misunderstandings in the party, which has been lingering on, unresolved, the DCE told Peacefmonline.com .
