The future looks murky and it would take voters who don’t eat good food at night to predict Nana Akufo Addo would one day become president- Kofi Wayo has said.
Under the 4th republic, elections in Ghana have been a two horse race between the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and 2016, is expected to be same.
But according to Mr. Wayo, Nana Akufo Addo’s presidential ambition would again hit a snag as he prepares to battle President Mahama for the third time in his life.
He predicts the NPP’s flagbearer would again struggle to make an impact in the impending elections and expects to see President Mahama still in power after the elections.
In an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM’s afternoon Drive Show dubbed ‘Common Sense’, Mr. Wayo stated that Nana Addo’s popularity only remains in the press.
Without the press, he claims Nana Akufo Addo has no solid backing like the stories portray.
