Vice President Kwesi Amissah Arthur has stated that out of all the candidates vying for the presidential seat, President John Mahama stands tall.
His assessment stems from President Mahama’s ability to deal with the challenges confronting the county.
The Vice President further stated that the track record of President Mahama puts him in a better stead ahead of the other candidates.
He made the statement during the inauguration of the Northern Regional NDC Election Task Force at Mole in the Northern Region on 6th September 2016.
The task force would be chaired by Alhaji Mohammed Limuna Muniru who doubles as the Minister of Food and agriculture.
Mr Amissah Arthur congratulated the task force to work hard in order to secure victory for the party in 2016.
He said out of the 31 seats the NDC, lost 11 out of 20 seats but charged them to work together in unity in order to annex the 11 seats that they lost in order to secure Victory for President John Mahama in December 2016.
