DAILY GUIDE newspaper has reported that the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) will on 8th October, 2016 launch its manifesto at the Tamale Sports Stadium in the Northern regional capital.
But Acting General Secretary of the party, John Boadu has told NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’ that – the party is yet to settle on a venue for the event but maintained the date is precise.
“Initially we decided to launch our manifesto at the Northern region but we are yet to settle on a venue. We can’t confirm the venue now until everything is settled,” he told host Nana Yaw Kesse.
He however assured that - the launch of the manifesto is expected to see some bigwigs of the party gracing the occasion.
