President Nana Akufo-Addo has condemned attacks on the Judiciary by pro-New Patriotic Party (NPP) militant group, Delta Force in his first Easter message to Ghanaians.
In the message, the President among other things vowed to ensure the laws of the country are respected and applied 'without fear or favour'.
“It is for this reason that I regret so much the unfortunate incidence that happened in Kumasi recently. Inasmuch as the law enforcement agencies and the Judiciary have moved to apply the laws of our land, let me reiterate that it will not be under my watch that people act with impunity. Neither will it be under my watch that the laws of our land will not be respected,” he said.

This long talk is unnecessary. Just say you are sorry for their nun sense and take responsibility for break down of law and order, then you can talk about it not happening under your watch, because it's already happening.
Only in Ghana can such a big lie be told by a president. Right in frojt of the flagstaff house these forces beat a police officer, they went ahead beating their opponents, storm the kintampo falls and took over, they took over toll boots, beat security coordinator and finally visited mayhem on a law court and you here telling us that lawlessness would not happen under your watch. I now understand why doctors say when you use too much weed in your youthful days, even when you have stopped in old age, your head would still be messed up. If not how can you have the guts to tell this lie to Ghanaians instead of simply apologizing that those people did wrong and from hence measures are being put in place to avoid such occurrences in future. This man is more than Donald trump.
I think Ghana must now begin to co-operate with Israel In terms of Historical Systems and fact to help the development of Ghana in some ways like machine development and design Based in Ghana to be able to produce our own machines and bulbs, also they can help us in our sustainable environmental development . This request can have a course in the sector of education. Thank you.
we must learn how to make matters die natural, after all, people are forgetting about it so why ressurrect it., the civil society etc that are pushing you to reject ya own were same hailing mahama to punish you., we must be wise to doo good to good Ghanaians and not hypocrites., we are not to please the world or civil society, we were as you put it elected to solve problems and as majority understood you and not all, to me its better to work at least to satisfy ya 54-55% people, let those ready join, those not willing be sitting on the fence., as we try to satisfy everyone, we end up making so many mistakes affecting our people ie the 54-55%., after all not all be ok even if you jail them 100 years but same people saying punish them were justifying mahama pardoning the deadly montie 3., LET OUR COOMUNICATION TEAM be effective, the presidency and ministers as well CEO must give information to them to talk on the party and government behalf, been too swift or quick to condemn, justify or punish our own may end the vision of bawumia or alan 2024, we must look beyond 2020 for if the NDC gets the power again, NO WHERE FOR US AGAIN
Mr president under pressure, It is rather too late to still be making statements about these issues. If you had nip this in the bud right from the very first incident or the second, discerning Ghanaians would have taken you seriously but to wait until a lot of harm caused it doesn't add up. Ghanaians want to see action, not words as usual. We are sick and tired of being intimidated on our on land. Ghana belongs to us all. We all pledge allegiance to the RED, GOLD, AND GREEN with the BLACK STAR. No one is more Ghanaian than the other. Who would have thought that after the public outcry, our leaders would have nicodemusly go under the cover of darkness to promise the DELTA N0NS3NS3 freedom after they were picked up by the police? We all know the police is acting under fear of their jobs. God is watching us from a distance! So words are cheap, we need action now. We don't want to hear or see any destructions by these thugs again. Enough of it. Are you now speaking because of the outcry of the Ghanaian or the international body or you have another agenda to apply their venom? We are watching. Do you think all those who cry out against them voted for your opponents? No, some voted for you and being silent meant you consented to their actions. I will never sell my conscience to one political party. I will support whoever that I think is putting GHANA first. So, Mr president do not let this terror groups act again. Until then, we will just take this as mere words which really don't have any legitimate weight.
We hear. It was actions mahama refused to take that made majority of Ghanaians to vote him out. Plenty talk talk never wins battle. Take actions. I always say to my Colleagues in the office that the media can do and undo u when it comes to election so pls tell ur mustapha, Kennedy, wuntumi to stop talking unnecessarily. Happy Easter Mr. Prez.
this is ***barred word*** and ***barred word*** statement. stop them and let know the organizers, foooolllls
Mr President. Your speach is most wellcome to most of us Ghanaians but, please a word to a wise is enough. This is why we have the saying. Action speaks louder than words so please let`s see more of you with some more Action. There is more to do and to be done. No one or a group of person under your watch should be allowed to take the Law in thier hands. So please just take a good look at these so called Delta Force activities. Thank you. Mr PRESIDENT.
Joe mens,Ghanaians haven't forgotten the ndc take overs of toilet facilities built by then NPP government of president Kuffuor,we haven't and will never forget Kofi Portuphy taking over NADMO Mr Asiedu even when the man was sick in bed,we haven't forgotten Nana's Mercedes Benz seized by the ndc led by Mahama Ayariga,we haven't forgotten but Mahama Ayariga ste*ling combine harvesters meant for the farmers in the North,we still remember ndc taking over all position giving by the NPP in 2009 and even re-naming Jubilee house built and refurbished by the NPP,we the the 54% Ghanaians who voted for change should comment but not dummies and dumps, Joe Mens you and your ndc have no business to talk about this government and the Delta force when Naaba was killing in the name of the ndc with impunity, when azorka misbehaved with impunity during the Talensi by-election and all John mahama then president could say was it was a dress rehearsal and the interior minister also could say was violence begat violence. What do you in the ndc think of yourselves you think you are above everybody in Ghana? Then you are deceiving yourselves big time, wait for the special prosecutor to be established and we see if Ghana is your property. You have no shame because you are crimin*ls.
mr president you are the best...ghanians beleive in you
