Professor Clement Dzidonu, President of the Accra Institute of Technology, has extolled President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for ensuring that his ministers declared their assets in record time.
According to him, such action by the president is an indication that he has taken off well, however it is too early to assess him on his performance.
Mr Akufo-Addo, reacting to concerns expressed about the size of his government in an interview with GTV on Friday, 17 March, said: “For instance, today, in record time, all the appointments that I have made have all declared their assets. All of 36 ministers who were among the first set of appointees have, as of yesterday, declared and filed their assets with the Auditor General.”
Assessing the president’s first 100 days in office while speaking on TV3’s New Day on Saturday April 15, Prof Dzidonu said: “I think it is so soon for a four-year government to get everything done in 100 days. All I can say the president has done so far is to get his cabinet together.
“What comes up for me is getting the ministers to declare their assets in record time. That is first and a good one, but as for meeting targets, we know this president came to power based on a lot of promises and I will be more concerned if I were him that the clock is ticking very fast.
“…For me the 100 days really is not a suitable time for me to evaluate the performance of a government.
“Whatever I will say now as great positives or negatives may not pan out to be in the four years. I really think that he needs some time to settle down. The Akufo-Addo government is settling down.”

They know your old foool is a violent person that was why the same good people of Ghana rejected him three times at poll. But he took advantage of the global economic crisis that hit Mahama's administration to beg and prostrate before Ghanaians to give a chance and promised them what American president could not fullfil and this made Ghanaians to give him a trial. But so far so good Ghanaians have been vindicated for voting against him three time and am sure if election conducted today Ghanaians will advise themselves.
Thank you Prof Clement Dzidonu, one of e best computer scientists in e world. you have spoken well and no wonder your university you put up i.(Accra institute of technology AIT) is one of best in e country.
You have spoken like a matured and a learner. You restricted your self to the issues, is only the wise who will understand you but people with NDC colours will disagree with you because they are still suffering from their humiliating defeat
What are the assets he declared, whom did he declare them to, until it is published for us all to see, it will still remain mystery.
