Former Deputy Sports Minister in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) regime, Joseph Yammin, is in hot waters as scores of New Patriotic Party (NPP) serial callers in Kumasi have descended heavily on the beleaguered politician.
According to the NPP serial callers, Hon. Joseph Yammin had openly insulted them, so they are angry.
They claimed Joseph Yammin’s statement that Senior Minister, Yaw Osafo Marfo recently spoke like an NPP serial caller is in bad taste.
The Senior Minister had said that corruption in Ghana football reached its peak in 2010, when the NDC were in office.
Yammin also responded by saying that the senior minister “generalized his statement as if he is an NPP serial caller”.
The aggrieved serial callers have stated that Yammin’s statement is insulting so they have ordered him to retract and apologize else they would retaliate.
According to the serial callers, if Yammin fails to retract and also apologize to them, then they may be forced to speak just as he did.
The NPP serial callers, who demanded anonymity, stated that they are well educated and respectable people so they deserve to be respected.
