A Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry, Carlos Ahenkorah, a first-time Member of Parliament for the Tema West Constituency, on Tuesday, barged into a media interview, and hurled insults on NDC MP for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, in the full glare of journalists at Parliament House.
The North Tongu MP was reacting to alleged money charged expatriates who sat beside the President during the recent Ghana Expatriates Business Awards.
The two nearly ended up fighting had it not been the intervention of the Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale North, Alhassan Suhuyini who pulled Hon Ablakwah away from the scene.
Alhassan Suhuyini speaking in an interview on Class FM, said Carlos Ahenkorah ‘disgraced himself’.
According to him, “I was stepping out of the chamber when I noticed that Honourable Ablakwa was addressing the press. From a distance I saw that Carlos Ahenkorah was throwing his hands and throwing a lot of tantrums. So I got attracted to the scene to find out what was going on. All along when Mr Ablakwa was speaking to the press, he (Mr Ahenkorah) kept interjecting and insulting and making all kinds of allegations that were so unrelated to the topic that he (Mr Ablakwa) was speaking on.
When he (Mr Ablakwa) finished and was turning away then he (Mr Ahenkorah) grabbed him and said he (Mr Ablakwah) should stay and listen to his response so that he won’t reply again. That was when Ablakwa said he takes exception to the adjectives that he was using on him and it almost degenerated at that point. But I held Honourable Ablakwa and asked him to move away because I thought that Carlos was disgracing himself"

Have you the response of NDC kingpin, Mr Victor Gbeho, the chairman of Millennium Excellence Foundation, the entity which organized the event?
In the end, it turns out Okudzeto Ablakwa was right! NPP HMMMMM!
So arrogant and proud.
HAS ARROGANCE EMERGED AGAIN IN OUR BODY POLITIC? REMEMBER POLITICIANS DO NOT WIN ELECTIONS BUT THEY LOSE ELECTIONS. LETS BE GUIDED BY OUR UTTERANCES. IN THIS WORLD, NO ONE IS BETTER THAN THE OTHER. DEFINITELY THERE IS A MINUTE THING THAT THE DOWN TRODDEN WILL BE GOOD AT. NO SITUATION IS PERMANENT. HUMILITY IS GOOD. THE LANGUAGE BEING USED HERE ARE TERRIBLE. THE MIND SET DOES NOT SPEAK GOOD OF US. ARE WE GOING TO CHURCH OR THE MOSQUE OR THE SHRINE OR THE TEMPLE ANYTIME THIS WEEK AND BEYOND? IF WE WILL BE ABLE TO TRULY LOOK UP OR DOWN TO OUR MAKER AND CONFIDENTLY PROCLAIM THESE VERY WORDS AND IDEAS IN FRONT OF WHAT AND WHO WE BELIEVE IN THEN THE DEITY THAT WE WORSHIP IS A LIAR. LETS BE GUIDED IN OUR UTTERANCES.
I love the way Carlos Ahenkorah responded to these us*less ndc mps, people who if not politics couldnt better their lives are exploiting their poor community to enrich themselves and talking rub*sh like it's their birthright to rule Ghana. Look at this thing called Suhuyini, Paul Amant3m, he talks before he goes to put on his thinking cup is also talking, people most of these NPP mps could employ have got the chance to parliament through the ignora*ce and poverty of their people and making noise with no sense. Suhuyini do you know and understand disgrace? You are the disgraceful one if you don't know, if you were to be in my constituency assemblyman would even be difficult for you how much more an mp. We need dignified men of substance in our parliament not thi*ves, greedy and selfish people whom some never worked and those who worked were also employed by thi*ves. Thank God most of them will lose their seats in 2020. Ndc is Ebola in Ghana and must be eradicated.
NDC people who apart from politics are mere citizens should be taught lesson by self made men in NPP who own businesses before politics. Who is Ablalwa to lie about everybody in parliament. He lied about respected man like Agyarko, knowing very well that apart from politics he comes nowhere close to any of the NPP people not even the younger ones like Titus, Ano Dompreh, Oppong Nkrumah etc.
Who is that ***barred word*** called Suhiyini. In fact, Mr Ahenkorah should have given that ***barred word*** boy called Ablakwa a dirty slap. A bloody Liar .
AND THIS IS COMING FROM AN MP WHO L1ED ABOUT COLLEAGUES, WHO ON NATIONAL TELEVISION DEMANDED TO SEE THE UNDERWEAR OF A FEMALE PRESENTER. WHAT HE DOES IN PRIVATE WITH HIS CONTITUENTS WILL BE INTERESTING TO KNOW. THE LIKE OF THIS 1NEXPERIENCED CL0WN IN PARLIAMNET IS WHAT MAKES THAT PLACE LOSE ITS RESPECT BY THE DAY. IN ANY C1VILISED PLACE WHERE POLITICS IS TAKEN SERIOUSLY, HE WILL NOT BE AT THE FOREFRONT OF THE OPPOSITION PARTY. WELL DONE TO CARLOS AHENKORAH. F00LISHNESS, $TUP1DITY, L1ES AND W0RTHL£SS N0NES3NSS SHOULD NOT BE TOLORATED. THE KIDS IN THE NDC THINKS POLITICS IS ABOUT J0KING.
He should have slapped Okudzeto Ablakwa. He likes exaggerating issues and make non issue look big issue. Next time someone should slap him well. ***barred word*** boy
When ever MR.ABLAKWA speaks he reminds me of ISOFOTON dubious judgement debt payment and it is one case i expect the special prosecutor to go into it.
