Former Vice President, Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has criticized the NPP administration for the way they are managing the economy.
He stated that in his assessment of the NPP government, they could have done much better in one year and that is what as Ghanaians we are all hoping for in the coming years for them to be able to resolve the problems.
The former Vice president made the statement in Ho on 25th December, 2017 when he spoke to the media after a visit on Christmas day to make some donations to children on admission at the Ho Regional and Municipal \Hospitals with his wife, Matilda Amissah–Arthur.
Mr Amissah Arthur said that most of the programs that have been adopted and implemented by the NPP government are without the full conceptualization of the appreciation of the cost involved.
Citing the implementation of the free SHS policy, he said more consultations with people who have expertise and more definition of exactly what it is that they want to do should have been consulted.
The former Vice president also called for some clarity on the things they (NPP) want to achieve; since the way it’s being done, it is a little haphazard and it doesn’t help.
He further stated that since every parent want to provide the best education for their children, it is important for the right thing to be done.
The couple were accompanied by the NDC MP for the Area Benjamin Kpodo. They went round the various wards to interact with the patients on admission and to wish them well.
They presented assorted gifts such as fruits, drinks, biscuits and bags of rice to the children and staff of the hospital.

It is easy to run down a company, or a country for that matter, if you are sufficiently reckless or greedy or both. The mess left over during the last 8 years cannot be undone in a year. And the joker was very much an important player during that period. Holy ***barred word***! Please better shut your trap and learn!
ONAAPO! The hospital needs Incubators and medicines not drinks and bags of rice.Still incompetent mood.
i thought this guy has been bed-ridden. his absence is expected anyway bcos even when they were in power a cleaner was more popular than him. I will advise him to channel his advice to the wife. he shd teach her what schools need just like what they have done for the hospitals. u can not go to the hospital and give them cutlass or chalks. tell her to show respect to others even if they are her junior. she looks like one of those women who controls their husbands anyhow. I wont respond to ur comment bcos i know u just woke up from a deep sleep since 2012.
Oh! mister amissah, if I were you I would keep quite and even talk. your wife was asked for chalk for school kids and what happened? please spare us our ears!
Hmm! That is the Vice President the Fantis thought he could help his own. Just like the late President Mills, they took the Fantis to the middle of river and told them there can’t be any way out, but they and their families.
Ahhhhhhhhh, PK? with this ecomini MESS you left behind? Wait when you men start going to Prison one-after-the other, then you will see your WICKEDNESS!
