Opposition NDC Flagbearer, Goozie Tanoh has said he has plans of making Ghana the most powerful economic country in West Africa when he’s elected the President of Ghana.
According to him, he’ll industrialize Ghana to make its economy strong and independent of aid from the West and Asia.
Mr Tanoh joins the likes the likes of the former President of the Republic, John Dramani Mahama, Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, Sylvester Mensah, Stephen Atubiga, Kweku Ricketts-Hagan, Dr. Ekow Spio-Garbrah, Goosie Tanoh, among some others to beat when the party goes to the polls in December 7 to elect their flagbearer for elections 2020.
“My dream for Ghana is to be the most powerful economic force in West Africa per capita because I believe if you look at the current crisis in international trade led by the trade war that is occurring between China and US, the problems within the EU itself… anti immigration, problems with trade, the world is changing in a way that we cannot gauge at the moment.
“What is happening now is that there’s a new nationalism and right wing emergent tendencies in the West that do not favour us as Africa as third world economies. If we’re smart as Asian countries we’ll begin then to consolidate and concretize the vision of ECOWAS and begin to expand our trade links coverage,” Goozie Tanoh told Bola Ray on Starr Chat.
