Hon. Lydia Alhassan, Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, has celebrated her 50th birthday with some select public schools in her constituency.
The MP spent her special day which happens to be the same day she was voted into office as a Member of Parliament (MP) for Ayawaso West Wuguon with pupils of the Abelempe A&B School, Ridge Prisons Nursery and Kindergarten, Bawleshie Primary and JHS School etc. in the Greater Accra Region.
She donated items like school bags, pens, pencils, books, food, biscuits and drinks among others.
She further cut her birthday cake with the pupils to mark a memorable day in her life.
She advised the pupils to be studious and become responsible future leaders.
“I am so excited to celebrates my special day with you because you all are aware how important education is to our President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government which I happen to be part...I encourage you to take your education very serious as you are all some of our future leaders.”
She also urged her constituents to be confident in her to fulfill her promises.
