The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as ‘Chairman Wontumi’ says he will not stop pointing fingers at former President John Mahama as Government Official 1, captured in the Airbus SE scandal.
To him, ex-President John Mahama is so corrupt that he (Wontumi) doesn't need any more convincing that he was involved in the Airbus scandal and that he (Mahama) is definitely Government Official 1.
Asked why he is so sure that Mahama is the face behind GO 1, he said just like how Jesus' birth was predicted before his time, the airbus scandal which has brought shame to the entire nation; if you are looking for him, you know who we are talking about...Mahama, I will continue to say his bottom is dirty and corruption has affected him like coronavirus
Chairman Wontumi who was speaking on Neat FM's ‘Me Man Nti’ programme, added: " . . if you read Isaiah 51:1 it says for the sake of Zion, I will not keep quiet . . . the same way for the sake of Ghanaians we will continue speaking until Ghana takes back its glory . . . someone has engaged in corrupt activity which has brought shame to the country and I will not keep quiet on it".
However, Chairman Wontumi erred in citing that particular scripture.

Meanwhile, Isaiah 51:1 says "Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness and who seek the LORD: Look to the rock from which you were cut and to the quarry from which you were hewn"
The correct scripture is Isaiah 62:1
For Zion's sake, I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem's sake I will not remain quiet, till her vindication shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch.
