Former President and leader of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr John Dramani Mahama, has stated that in the next NDC government, each district would get a technical institute in order to improve upon the human capital of the Ghanaian youth.
In this regard, he called for the needed attention to be given to technical and vocational training in the country since not everyone could acquire secondary education.
Former President Mahama, who was speaking at separate rallies at Ahebenso, Afere and Kwasikrom all in the Bodi Constituency of the Western North Region to round up his three days tour of the Region, lauded the free senior high school policy but accused the NPP government of not implementing it properly.
He indicated that he would cancel the double-track system of the free SHS if the NDC wins the next general elections.
The former President called for unity among the rank and file of the Party and advised Party faithful to vote massively for the NDC parliamentary candidates.
Mr Micheal Aidoo, Western North Regional Chairman of the Party, asked the members to remain loyal and committed to the cause of the NDC, since that was the only party that had their interest at heart.

Can’t down and come out with entirely new programs to win the hearts of Ghanaians? Why do you have to enter into One district one something.Lack of ideas is killing the NDC party. JM wake up. Your indecisiveness is killing the party
How is that possible if you pay your ministers double salary
when the NPP started talking of one district one dam, NDC people were ridiculing the idea. this includes so called intellects in Ghana. now your party is struggling to use different word to mean same. welcome shame, all Ghanaians should be very observant Ndc have NOT come up or executed one single program successfully in Ghana. they atta mills and mahama spent all thier presidency fighting over Kuffour s policies and ideas and using it to feed their people wor. talk about school feeding ,talk about nhis , sylvester mensah enjoyed a lot of booty there for work his ndc couldnt creat, Gyeeda, masloc , Getfund , there are so many i can even mention. NOT ONE i mena NOT ONE was initiated by the NDC , the best they do is change the name and chpp all the money . please as a Ghanaian be wise never vote for NDc its will not help Ghana
Folks the subject is THE NEXT NDC GOVERNMENT so why are you guys worried to comment as if this is going to happen soon? Hahahaha The next NDC government is going to be 20 years from now so January 2041 when Ghana has got to the promise land with the INCORRUPTIBLE SAVIORS LIKE Nana Addo-Bawumia and no more party called NDC. I have already decreed like the Jews said NEVER AGAIN TO NDC. NDC YAAMUTU, NDC YAAMUTU NDC YAAMUTU NDC YAAMUTU NDC YAAMUTU NDC YAAMUTU NDC YAAMUTU NDC YAAMUTU NDC YAAMUTU NDC YAAMUTU NDC YAAMUTU NDC YAAMUTU NDC YAAMUTU
These the things they promise without any funding and create problems for us Where are you going to get teachers to teach in those districts without accommodation etc Does the ministry of education have money to absorb extra teachers These are things we don’t think through and end up ballooning government expenditures
1 District 1 Technical School? What happened to the 200 Secondary Schools you failed to deliver? Copy, copy JM. No original ideas. 1 Constituency 1 Airbus. 1 District 1 Helicopter. 1 Town 1 Akonfem
This conman is still making promises he knows he cannot fulfil. Tell us who GO1 is in the Airbus rotten deal. P(NDC) was in power for 27 years.... since when did you realise how important technical education is to our economy? This is an empty promise. period.
Wo Pana no no, now you've entered the one District area, One District, one Technical school. Next will be one District one hospital and on and on. Mr. Tio, try and originate just one noble idea that Nana Addo has not done. You can't continue to hammer on people's achievements. When you promised to build 200 Day Schools in 4 years, you ended up completing only 23. You're now promising again to cancel double track, are you going to stop them from growing so that when you finish putting up your buildings, you enroll them again. And how many years will that be? Let me remind you that you have only 4 more gears in the unlikely situation that you're elected even in Western Togoland
Eeiiii opana. 1D1TS. Hehehehehehe. How about the airbus
