Central Regional Minister, Kwamena Duncan has alleged that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is ‘rejoicing’ over the outbreak of the Coronavirus in Ghana.
Contributing to a panel discussion on Peace FM’s morning show ‘Kokrokoo’, he said “what we have heard from them (NDC) is that they prayed for this COVID-19 and they were even happy that the COVID was here”.
According to him utterances from some communication members of the NDC show that “they prayed for COVID-19 cases to occur” in Ghana.
“A deputy Communications Officer said we will see how the voters’ register will be compiled in the wake of the pandemic and he has not been condemned, and you think that if they were not rejoicing behind closed doors, he will come out to speak the way he did? And to top it up, the General Secretary said measures being put together in curbing this pandemic is intended to rig the 2020 election,” he said.
He concluded that it is right to believe and assume that they are happy with what is going on and their utterances.

One of the 124 bunch of ***barred word*** in these ***barred word*** family and friends gov't.
Does he has a wife who advises him? He is disgracing his entire family. Not many people become ministers so, someone should advise him to be a little bit matured. He makes it clear that he is so childish, and that makes nana addo likes so stoupid to have appointed him as a minister.
As soon as I read the headline, the first thing that came into my mind was, this cannot come from any sane minister than the comedian ***barred word*** minister Kwamena Duncan. And as I started to read the ***barred word***'s name showed up. How can a minister in Kwame Nkrumah's Ghana who happens to be a teacher speak this way. Sometimes we take only those who are walking naked in the street as mad, but there are so many mad men well dressed, and this minister is one of them. Bentua!
You spew out ***barred word*** like this and you want to be applauded?
Such infantile assertion from someone who's being catered for by the taxpayers meagre resource
Am sure a JSS graduate with few years of working experience will perform better than this non performing minister. He is a spent force and needs to be replaced with a better candidate.
Shameful, we call such a characters minister.
An exact replica of koku anyidoho, I don't know whether this guy is a radio minister or regional minister. Always trooping to fm station to ensure his appointment is secured. Central region citizens should measure the performance of this minister. Not sure if the minister knows that he is a regional minister and not minister of cape coast. A typical square peg in round hole. Central region guys please wise up, focus and stop the concert minister
Mr minister , it's a global pandemic . There is nothing you can do about it . The best is to limit your numbers .as some countries has excellently done .
Why is it that all the utterances of this tradition (NPP) is just equals to an ***barred word***? How can u shallow mindedly attributed a global pandemic to an African political party? You pple should thank formal president John Mahama for his tremendous infrastructural commitment and investment in the health sector.... Ghana would've been worse off today.
