The General Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. John Boadu has said the largest opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC) has never been fond of Ghanaians students over the years.
According to him, the NDC is opposing the move by the Electoral Commission (EC) to register final-year Senior High School students because they see the beneficiaries of President Nana Akufo-Addo’s Free SHS policy as a threat to its electoral chances in the December 7 polls.
“The truth of the matter is, NDC hate Ghanaian students. They know students will vote against them,” he said in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’.
The EC announced at the end of an Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting held on Thursday, 9 July 2020 that it will start registering the final-year students on their various campuses.
But, the NDC, has, however, kicked against it - describing the move as “illegal”.
Mr. John Boadu however told host Mac Jerry Osei Agyeman that “The agenda by the NDC to kick against the registration of SHS student will fail.”

This is very true because John Domelo the NDC aspiring MP for Ayawaso said it clearly that NDC doesn’t go with intellectuals and this is the reason why I decree like the Jews said never again to ndc. NDC YAAMUTU NDC YAAMUTU NDC YAAMUTU NDC YAAMUTU NDC YAAMUTU NDC YAAMUTU NDC YAAMUTU
Too much political thinking cause people to make statements and one wonders if they hear what they said themselves. How can you say a political party hates students whilst students are also members of that party or members of the party have children who are students!!! Do they hate themselves or their children?
Please Mr.Boadu I hope you have listen to the interview between the minister of education and Mr. Kwami Sefa Kayi. Listen to the interview and you would see how the government is more interested in votes than in the health of these students. Anyway am an NPP sympathizer and a health professional
