Head of Operations of Forestry Commission, Charles Owusu has condemned the insubordinate behaviour of some SHS students towards President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Some WASSCE students were captured in a viral video disrespecting President Akuffo Addo over their examination questions.
The students were seen insulting the President because they couldn't write their exams.
Speaking to host Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo', Charles Owusu was disappointed in the students for behaving rudely towards the President but called on the education authorities not to focus on punishing the students alone.
He urged them to also investigate the root cause of the student's insubordination so as to avoid a repetition of such character in the future.
''It is important that we delve deep into this issue and ask more questions than answers. We should look at the root cause of the matter and make sure that these things won't repeat themselves in the future.''
