Member of Parliament(MP) for Tarkwa-Nsuaem constituency, George Mireku Duker says Ghanaians should take it cool with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to deliver on his promises.
According to George Mireku Duker, who doubles as Deputy Lands and Natural Resources Minister-designate, the President has not gone to sleep on his responsibilities.
He attributed the current economic downturn to the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo' programme, he said; ''We're not in normal times and I accept and I agree but we should know where we currently stand. Indeed, there are numerous hardships but we should also know where we stand now and admit that, indeed, there is pandemic that has impacted and changed the entire world economy.''
He assured Ghanaians that the President is working around the clock to develop the country.
He, however, shared the sentiments of the citizens calling on the President to resolve the challenges confronting them but urged them to be patient.
