Tarkwa-Nsuaem Divisional Chiefs want President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to retain the area’s Municipal Chief Executive (MCE).
They described Benjamin Kessie as a hardworking government appointee who has a good working relationship with the MP for the area.
The chiefs have, however, called on the president to reappoint him to continue with his good works and ensure development to the area.
“We also use this opportunity to humbly remind the President that, we are for the development of Tarkwa-Nsuaem and believes that, the MP should be supported by a hardworking and a dedicated Municipal Chief Executive.”
“On this call, we humbly call on Mr President to re-appoint Hon. Benjamin Kessie since the latter has performed remarkably in a short period with a very cordial working relationship with the MP and Nananom. We believe the combination of the duo coupled with our support will accelerate the needed development in Tarkwa-Nsauem.” Statement from the chiefs read
