The Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin has waded into discussions surrounding the Member of Parliament for Ahanta West Constituency, Hon. Alexander Kojo Kum and the presence of an ambulance in Parliament.
The Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa during Thursday's proceedings, asked why the Ahanta MP was marked present when he was not seen in the chamber.
In response, the Speaker said, “I saw how Ahanta West MP and Chieftaincy minister, Ebenezer Kojo-Kum was brought to Parliament in an ambulance".
The Majority Caucus conveyed the MP who doubles as the Minister for Religious and Chieftaincy Affairs, to the House to shore up its numbers for the approval of the controversial E-levy.
