The presidential hopeful seeking to represent the African Action Congress (AAC) in the 2023 general election, Omoyele Sowore, has held a rally inside a river in Ondo state.
Sowore had, on March 1, declared his intention to contest the presidency.
He was also the candidate of the AAC in the 2019 general election.
Sowore, who was arrested by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) on August 2, 2019, was granted bail by different courts, but the agency had failed to release the activist until December 2019.
In October 2019, a federal high court in Abuja had granted a N100 million bail to Sowore, convener of #RevolutionNow Movement.
