The Progressive People's Party (PPP) is ten (10) years old.
On Saturday, October 1, 2022, the party will celebrate its anniversary by welcoming all founding leaders, members and supporters, both near and far, as they gather to initiate pragmatic measures to become the third force in the political arena.
The National Chairman of the party, Nana Ofori Owusu made this known on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" programme, hoping that the 10th anniversary will be a revolutionary moment in the party.
"We have invited all political parties. We have invited all founding fathers and mothers. We've invited everybody to come and celebrate this moment with us as we have also started strong grass root movement. They say the revolution shall not be televised; it's the byproduct of the revolution and organizing on the ground that you will see."
He believed the PPP will galvanize to be a powerful political party and a strong competition to the two major opposition parties, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC).
"We are winning the hearts and minds of people and making sure we are all on the same wavelength to ensure that Ghana moves forward," he said.
