Political analyst, Yaw Asani Tanoh has condemned critics lambasting investigative Journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas for using 'entrapment' in his line of work.
Anas' recent investigative piece which led to the dismissal of the Minister of State at the Finance Ministry, Charles Adu Boahen has generated mixed reactions.
While some are commending him, others have called him out for using money to allegedly trap persons perceived to be corrupt.
However, Asani Tanoh speaking on Neat FM's 'Me Man Nti' programme shut down critics for questioning the modus operandi used by the ace Journalist.
According to him, there's no investigative Journalist in the world who doesn't use entrapment.
"Entrapment is one of the best scientific tools to be used in undercover investigation, without it you can't make an impact. The NIB (National Intelligence Bureau) in Ghana uses it, Police Service uses it . . . so entrapment is one of the greatest scientific tools to be used. If you're not corrupt, you'll never be trapped," he averred.
