The National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye a.k.a Nana B has condemned the suame ‘Kill to win elections' comments made by the Suame constituency Youth Organizer of the NDC to the effect that his party will kill in order to win power in next year’s elections.
Nana B charged the Police to apprehend the NDC Youth Organizer and prosecute him to serve as a deterrent to others.
A video of a man inciting violence ahead of the 2024 general elections has triggered reactions from many Ghanaians.
The NDC Youth Organizer, in an interview with the media, asked supporters and members of the NDC not to hesitate to kill NPP supporters in their quest to win the 2024 elections and make former President John Mahama President of Ghana.
“I will plead with Ghana Police; they should arrest that gentleman and prosecute him without any further delay", Nana B said on Okay FM "Ade Akye Abia" morning show.
He also appealed to the Police not to politicize the issue stressing "we should avoid violence at all times and not use violence as a tool to capture power because you belong to a political party. How can you kill your fellow human being because of power? This must be condemned and any necessary action needed must be taken to serve as a deterrent to others"
He urged Ghanaians to ensure peace and unity.
