A National Democratic Congress member in the Kumawu constituency has defected to the Npp on seeing Mr.Alan Kyerematen campaign in the constituency.
According the Ndc member by name Rebecca Akua Afriyie,Alan has been her long time admirer and has even named a child after him.
She said her life time dream has been to see Alan personally and that for seeing him in Kumawu today,she has decided to switch camp to the Npp.She admonished the Npp to bring Alan in 2024 if they really need her vote since her love for Alan is eternal.
Mr.Alan Kyerematen entered Kumawu this afternoon amidst huge following by Npp supporters in the constituency who feels a victory for Yaw Ernest Anim,is a victory for Alan and for that matter the late MP,Philip Basoa.
Mr.Kyerematen visited Banko a local community in the constituency where he campaigned vigorously for the Npp candidate.The people of Kumawu have a natural love for the former Trades and Industry minister and so ever since he entered the constituency,the Npp’s morale has increased beyond measure and poised for a victory come Tuesday,the 23rd of May,2023.
