The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama is very optimistic his party will win the 2024 presidential election.
He alluded to what his party did to win the Assin North by-election and said the same strategy will be applied to get him elected president again.
Mr Mahama was addressing indigenes in Assin North during NDC’s ‘Than You Rally’ tour.
Adding that “If history is being written about elections in Ghana, the people of Assin North will have their name written in gold. The victory in this by-election is the beginning of our march to recapture power. We are carrying the same momentum to the 2024 general election. I have faith in the Almighty God to grant the NDC victory in the next election.”
“You have shown us what we call the Assin North formula. And it is this Assin North formula we will use to win the 2024 elections,” Mahama said during the thanksgiving rally.

ASSIN NORTH STRATEGY INDEED, U THINK LIES, LIES AND LIES WILL BRING U BACK TO POWER, SMH IN YOUR DREAMS
Talk is cheap! It is fact that GQ is very popular among the electorate… John Mahama lost in the presidential elections in 2016 and 2020 in Assin North. So what is he talking about?
Jdm stop dreaming.
So what was the strategy, was it programs or just mere talk, it is about time the media and Ghanaians push politicians to talk about programs like housing, unemployment, health, education and stop the mere rhetoric.
