It's a showdown season for the New Patriotic Party as the party goes into the polls on Saturday, November 4, to elect their flagbearer.
Four candidates in the persons of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, Assin Central lawmaker, Dr. Owusu Afriyie-Akoto, former Agric Minister and Thomas Addai Nimoh will be running the race to lead the party.
Although the contest is between four persons, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Kennedy Agyapong will be the cynosure of all eyes on the election day with the two expected to give each other a showdown.
But to Dennis Miracles of Bawumia's team, the Vice President isn't threatened by the showdown.
According to him, none of the candidates has a unique force to make Dr. Bawumia agitated about his victory in the election.
"We do not have a threat from amongst the other competitors," he emphasized on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" morning show.
