New Patriotic Party’s Nana Akomea seems unhappy with NDC’s Inusah Fusein for belittling his party’s flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
The former NDC lawmaker and lawyer, Mr Fuseini had told NEAT FM’s morning show in an interview that Dr Bawumia if elected as president will not have much say in his own government.
According to him, his acclaimed ‘Godfather’ in the party, President Nana Addo Dankwa Afuko-Addo will be managing affairs for him because “he brought him to the party from nowhere.”
But the State Transport Corporate (STC) boss, Nana Akomea finds his utterances as “demeaning” and “unfortunate”.
“Such an experienced politician shouldn’t be talking like this.” He reacted to Fuseini on the Ghana Montie morning show.
“When Rawlings brought late Prof Mills to the party and later became NDC’s flagbearer and president, was Rawlings dictating for him?” He further questioned.
Adding that, “Elderly person like him should at least be circumspect in his speech.”

nana akomea indeed politics has make your fine mind turn bad mind, you have forgotten what you and NPP said about the late Mills. now table has turn so tolerate everything that will be said about Bawumia, you hoping to get ministerial appointment from which will NEVER happen. Please salvage the litle credibility lift in you before you die
@Paa Kwesi & Khalifa - There is no smoke without fire. What did JEAM said at time? He told the whole wide world he will consult Rawlings 24/7 the reason for those references by the then opposition. However, did he allow that when he became president? No, so why would the NDC say so about Bawumia who made it clear he will be his own man.
Look at you today. Have you forgotten the poddle tag you gave to Prof Mills...today you are crying wolf...
So today those people who are saying that a vote for Bawumia is a vote to keep Nana Addo in charge of affairs are not wise? That’s the exact message the NPP was churning out in 2000 that a vote for Prof. Mills was a vote to keep President Rawlings in charge of affairs at the background. Is Nana Akomea inferring that those NPP stalwarts who made that statement in 2000, including himself were not wise?
It's surprising the followers of NDC, even their so-called intellectuals talk as if they've lost their minds. Well, Chenua Achebe said they that the gods want to destroy first loose their minds.I can understand now that they're losing this elections...They're digging their grave by their words, for the Bible also say by their words, you'll be condemned.
