Dr. Benjamin Otchere-Ankrah has slammed President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for inviting President of Ivory Coast, Alassane Ouattara, to join the celebration of Ghana's 67th independence anniversary.
Ghana celebrated her 67th independence at Koforidua in Eastern Region.
The event was attended by high-profile dignitaries from across the country and outside with Alassane Ouattara being the Guest of Honor.
Speaking on Peace FM's Thursday edition of "Kokrokoo" programme, Dr. Benjamin Otchere-Ankrah, a Governance Lecturer at the Central University, says Mr. Ouattara didn't deserve to celebrate Ghana's independence.
"Why Ouattara? President Akufo-Addo, why Ouattara? A person who has changed his constitution to be in power for three terms instead of two terms. He doesn't deserve to have been here because he has disgraced ECOWAS. He isn't a person that should have been invited," he blasted President Akufo-Addo.
