Did Eazzy Fall On Stage?

The whole Takoradi show was chaos, one that I would not want to recall. Nevertheless there were some high points and some terribly low points. But one gig that can never go untouched was the Rise, Fall and Rise of Eazzy.

The anticipation of the show was incredibly unbelievable and the numbers present at the grounds attested to the fact. Eazzy was the fourth act to grace the platform, a day after she ended her 4-City club tour around Ghana.

When comic-icon Kwame Dzokoto introduced the diva, whose steady rise to prominence has rather been on top acceleration; everyone expected another banging performance from the first lady. After performing her Bo wonsem mame hit, and her part in the remix version of Tinnys Ringtone and OJ Blaqs Fire, she activated a higher sense of movement for her monster Wengeze track.

The groovy nature of the song and the screaming of the crowd as she started the performance was what took her onto cloud nine. Jumping up and down as she touched the second verse of the track, the first lady of the Lynx Entertainment crew tripped and fell. The fall was quick and resounding but her response was instant and incredible.

In a glance she was back on her feet and killing the tune. I was expecting some loss of energy after the incidence, but she went on and finished her performance with even more energy than she began with.

Eazzy has been referred to as Ghanas Beyonce, who has been known to fall on stage on more than one occasion. Eazzy has now literally followed in her footsteps. A similar feat has occurred to international stars such as Lil Wayne and Drake. Our own Dela suffered same at last years GMA and Iwan toppled the list at the recent Ghana Loves Haiti Concert.

Honestly I laughed my heart out when she fell and I am still doing that now but I must commend her for confidence after such a feat. Eazzy rose, fell and rose again.
