On Friday, 1st November, 2013, the Tamale Stadium will host some of Tamales best artistes as they come first-to-face with Ghanas top stage shakers in an event dubbed Tamale Rocks.

This is collaboration between Musiga and British Council Ghana, U.Ks independent and non-political organization for educational opportunities and cultural relations; which celebrates its 70th anniversary in Ghana.

V.I.P comes face-to-face with CHOGGU BOYS, ABADA face A-S-E-M; and TUBA DAGOMBA faces EDEM. People of Tamale are expected to answer a simple question about British Council on all major radio stations in Tamale to win tickets to the Concert.

Also, tickets may be won at the events facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Tamale-Rocks/894734157280796
However, very limited tickets will be sold at Ghc5 to support Musigas novelty project, AMWEF- Ageing Musicians Welfare Fund.

Musiga has partnered British Council on various projects as a result of the organisations support for the arts and creative industry over the years. Prior to Tamale Rocks, on Wednesday, 30th October at Tamale Stadium Conference Hall, there will be a workshop for the industry on copyright ownership and other topics considered crucial in the music industry.

British Council has operated in Ghana since 1943, providing opportunities in professional development and intercultural dialogue for young people and emerging leaders in Ghana.

MUSIGA considers the relationship with British Council important because it offers an international dimension to our work says Bice Osei Kuffour, President of Musiga. Furthermore, it is an association with endless learning and development opportunities that any group would love to benefit.

Some of the activities of British Council include Blazing Trails, Badiliko, Connecting Classrooms, Creative Enterprise, The Challenge, Tullow scholarship scheme, International Higher Education((Exhibitions, alumni) and Management training.

Tamale Rocks is supported by Antrak Air, Samandzo Hotel, Wonder J Hotel, Taco Rabama, entertainGH.com and Lucozade, which aside other support, are also providing free Drinks for the first 1,000 entrants.
