Ashanti regional capital Kumasi came alive over the weekend with great Ghanaian music.
The 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards nominees jam took place at the Kumasi City Mall on Saturday 6th April in the Ashanti Region attracting over 15, 000 music fans from far and near.
Among the top performers who thrilled music lovers at the jam were afro-dancehall musician, Stonebwoy, dancehall star Shatta Wale, hiplife/afrobeats duo Dopenation, Kumasi-based rapper Flowking Stone, highlife songstress Adina, Tema-based rapper Yaa Pono, actor cum musician Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin, afrobeats newcomer Wendy Shay, gospel songstress Obaapa Christy, Kumasi top gospel star Kweku Gyasi, and other rising stars.
The event which was hosted by Amanda Jissih and Forster Romanus, was sponsored by Vodafone and supported by the most talked about alcoholic beverage Kpoo Keke. The show was aired live on TV3, YFM and DSTV.
