Sound Engineer, Fred Kyei Mensah, affectionately called Fredyma is exceptionally happy for the car gift from singer and actress Diamond Appiah.
Diamond celebrated her 33rd birthday over the weekend and doled out cars to two of her mentors, Fredyma and veteran actress Grace Omaboe.
The one-time politician and parliamentary aspirant threw a lavish birthday party for herself in her huge mansion which was star-studded as celebrities like actress Helen Asante, David Dontoh, Kalsoume Sinare, Celestine Donkor, Vicky Zugah, Selassie Ibrahim, Beverly Afaglo, Akofa Edjeani Aseidu, Dzifa Gomashie and many others thronged the event.
Diamond gifted Grace Omaboe, popularly called Maame Dokono, with a white Kia car while Fredyma drove home a black Kia vehicle.
Speaking in an interview with Ola Michael on Neat FM's ''Entertainment GH'', Fredyma was overjoyed as he narrated how it all went down over the weekend.
According to him, Music Producer and President of the Creative Arts Council, Mark Okraku Mantey informed him that his (Mark) friend was a fan of Fredyma and therefore wanted to meet him which he agreed.
He said Mark Okraku never gave a hint about the identity of the unidentified friend but drove him till they neared Diamond's mansion and he saw many people dressed in white that he realized it was all a big surprise for him.
He detailed that the scenery was such that everything had been pre-planned to make his day a colorfully beautiful one as he saw his biological son cum gospel singer at the event, who ministered an inspiring song to him, followed by singer Celestine Donkor who also sung a song he had once written for her.
Fredyma added that he was dumbfounded and gobsmacked as his car was unveiled.
He prayed God to shower immensurate blessings upon Diamond Appiah.
Like Oliver Twist, Fredyma further called for more support from his loved ones and any person in the general public who admires him and would like to help him with no matter how little the help is.
