This year's Miss Malaika contestants paid a visit to Help Age Centre at Osu last week, where they paid homage to the elderly with a donation. They also took time out to prepare delicious meals for them.
The ladies donated assorted products from Gino and a double door refrigerator as part of their efforts to fulfill their social responsibilities.
The beauty queens, who were neatly dressed in Gino T-shirts and matching aprons, were divided into three teams, A. B and C. The teams were supported by well-trained professional chefs from Golden Tulip Hotel.
The groups battled each other in a cooking contest which saw team A emerge the winner, followed by team C and B. One of Ghana’s seasoned highlife musicians, Paapa Kofi Yankson, was there to entertain with his live performance.
