After a long thirteen episodes of reality TV viewing TV3, the grand of finale of the 2012 Face of Tertiary came off at the Accra Conference Center recently, witnessing the crowing of Miss USD is winner.
The night started with a performance by humble lion of TV3 Boggie Down fame and a chorography from the queens talking about unity. They dressed in same t-shirt which signify they are one people and different national flags which also signify they are from different country after which the MCs for the night were introduce as PY of the 1 chat show and Muvie of Xfm.
This was just the beginning of the night of great things to happen. The two MCs PY and Muvie took over the stage with an introduction of 18queens and their institutions with a cat walk and display of Clothes of Nana Africa.
Stranger a new kid in the blocks of GH music gave the crowd a performance of his new single yet to be released which got them standing to shake the boredom. It was now time for questions from judges to be answered by the intelligent queens to convince the judges that they intelligent and deserve to be crowned Face of Tertiary Season 3.
After a long speech from the queens which got some the crowd screaming and others bored, Diamond of Empire gave them an outstanding performance which got everyone in hall dancing and singing. Yaa Pono could not wait to see the crowd sitting so he also claims up on stage with his crew from uptown energy to do what he does best.
Talent is said to be a gift from God, so it was now time for the queens show the crowd and their fans what God gave them as a talent. A display of great talents from all 18 queens got the judges convinced to pick their best 8 for the crown. The fans of the 8 queens chosen were in joy when Asaase Abane, one the best music group in GH out of no were claims on stage with a performance which got the rave heads screaming, singing and dancing.
Miss Nafti, Miss GIJ, Miss UDS, Miss WU, Miss Datalink, Miss UCOMS, Miss B Poly and Miss CU were the best 8 queens selected by the judges for the crown, but before they had to display the documentary of their project on child labour. Lil Shaker gave the crowd a performance to keep them waiting for the result to be announced. After all is said and done it was now time for the reason why everyone was there and waiting.
The results containing 60% from judges and 40% Votes from fans was handed over to the MCs of the night PY and Muvie to declare the winner for the Face of Tertiary Season 3. Miss CU was announced the 2nd runner up and Miss GIJ as the 1st runner up. The surprise no one expected was unveiled as Miss UDS was announced the winner for the Face of Tertiary Season 3 and got everyone in the hall screaming with no limits.
