Popular light heavyweight contender Braimah Kamoko popularly known as "Bukom Banku" has threatened to beat anyone who taunts him or his family.
The Bukom boxer was yesterday released from police custody after he was detained for vandalising property and assault in the Bukom area.
Kamoko was detained on Tuesday afternoon after a scuffle with a group he accused of singing derogatory songs about his wife, a local fetish priestess known as Ohua Broni.
Bukom Banku after he was granted bail said I know that I have been released but will never forgive anyone who tries to joke or insult my wife or myself, he noted.
Meanwhile a clinical psychologist, Emmanuel Essampong has suggested that the violent behaviour of the boxer may be born out of psychological problems.
The violent tendencies of the boxer may require a psychological review to correct his behaviour because it is just too much. I am charging the authorities to as a matter of urgency examine that aspect in addition to other investigations they may conduct he said on Adom FM.
