Five cyclists and one official have arrived in Rwanda for the 2018 Africa Cycling Championships, scheduled from 13th-18th February, 2018.
The cyclists includes; River Park Brong Ahafo and SWAG award nominee, Anthony Boakye, Vital Cycling Club's Abdulrazak Abdul Mumin, Frank Akuffo of Velo stars, Abdul Rahman of Gutten cycling Club and Abdul Razak Umar of Die Hard.
The championship forms part of stringent preparations ahead of the upcoming Commonwealth Games in the Gold Coast, Australia, in April this year.
A statement signed by Denis K. Moore, Secretary General of Ghana Cycling Federation (GCA) and copied to the GNA Sports, said the three cyclists would eventually pick out their slots for the world event .
The National Cycling Team - "The Golden Pedals" started preparations last year with over four outings and finally came out with the Yellow Jersey from the Ivory Coast.
