Godwin Asem returned a net score of 66 to win this month�s Coca-Cola Monthly Open Golf Championship played at the Celebrity Golf Course at Sakumono, near Tema on Saturday.
Asem who played a gross of 74 with a Handicap of eight, will now be playing to a Handicap of seven.
Charles Martey took the second position with a net score of 68, while Jimmie Thormie placed third with a net score of 71.
In the Ladies category, Aileen Conteh came first with a net score of 69, followed by Nana Bema Tackie with a net score of 72, while Cathy Boateng came third with a net score of 77.
E.K. Asare, Issah Adam, Akwasi Opoku, Isaac Awuni and Osei Amanianpong who played birdies were given special prizes in a competition sponsored by Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Ghana Limited, with over 100 golfers participating.
Akwasi Opoku, Captain of the Celebrity Golf Club praised the golfers for putting up wonderful performance and urged them to take every competition seriously and contribute towards the development of the game.
