Also present at the ceremony were representatives from GLICO GROUP, Executives from GFA & Ghana Black Stars and members of the press.

In her presentation, Nana Efua Rockson indicated that “our little motivation, amongst all the other by well meaning sponsors, did the trick and brought out the best in our Black Stars”.

She also assured the Ghana Football Association, the Black Stars and all stakeholders who made it possible for the Stars to make it successfully to the AFCON 2015 tournament, that “GLICO GROUP is here to assure the Ghana Football Association and the Black Stars that we are with them all the way in the next AFCON and World Cup tournaments; providing them with the necessary “CUSHION” to motivate them to win laurels for our dear nation Ghana”.

Mr. George Afriyie, and Mr. Gyimah (General Secretary, GFA), thanked GLICO for their kind gesture and unwavering support shown to the Black Stars over the years in their acceptance addresses.

Similarly, Mr. Maxwell Konadu, also commended GLICO for their consistent commitment and support towards the promotion of football in the country and encouraged other corporate bodies to follow GLICO’s footsteps to support the Black Stars and other sports in Ghana.
