Andre Ayew, son of Ghanaian legend Abedi Pele has rubbished reports that his dad died in France a few hours ago after a short illness.
Reports in the media had it that the former Black Stars captain passed on in France, Marseille, in the wee hours of Friday.
But the West Ham United star has debunked the story insisting Abedi Pele is alive and kicking and not suffering from any illness.
"My dad is alive and very well. He has not suffered from any sickness or illness and has not received any treatment in France. The reports are complete lies and a hoax," Andre Ayew told Ghanasoccernet.com
