Sports broadcaster, Daniel Kweku Yeboah has made a shocking revelation about how much money is pumped into the Black Stars campaign to the World Cup.
Despite the economic hardships visited upon Ghanaians and which invoked a nation address on the state of the economy from the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, it is has been disclosed that for each match the Black Stars played in the World Cup qualifiers, the nation spent a million dollars.
Speaking on the Black Stars qualification to the Qatar World Cup, Dan Kweku Yeboah noted that "this is the most expensive World Cup we are attending".
He stated that in addition to the various compensations in thousands of dollars paid to coaches including arrears yet to be defrayed to former Coach C.K Annor, "we are told by the Ministry that every single match we play, they spend 1 million dollars".
