Finally Accra Hearts of Oak football Club whose motto is �never say die, until the bones are rotten� has been crowned champions of the 2009 Glo Premier League title upon all the tortuous journey in the second half of the season.
Three points were what the Phobians needed to be crowned champions and they had them, at the expense of relegation-bound Sporting Mirren.
The Club won the league title with 52 points with Kotoko who drew two all with Alhaji Grunsah�s King Faisal securing the second position with 49 points.
Speaking to Peace FM, Chairman of the Premier League Board (PLB), Mr. Abra-Appiah described this year�s league as wonderful and congratulated supporters of all the clubs for comporting themselves.
