Asante Kotoko claim they have shortlisted three coaches to select a permanent man who will solve their technical problems after a patchy run of form in the off-season.
The new coach will take-over from stop-gap coach Herbert Addo who has failed to secure a permanent deal with the club after masterminding their revival in the just ended season. Kotoko have received proposals from two coaches and the third will be contacted by the close of the week.
"We are speaking to the third coach this week and as soon as we are through with the negotiations, the name will be public," Management member Benjamin Nti told the Asante Kotoko Express.
"We are still in discussions with these coaches. It will not be appriopriate to mention names-we prefer to put out their names when we are done with everything." Addo's inability to convince the club's management by failing to pick up a point in three matches stalled talks for a contract renewal.
