A German labour court has asked the four doctors who have so far examined Ghana striker Prince Tagoe to reach a consensus on his health status.

A German labour court has asked the four doctors who have so far examined Ghana striker Prince Tagoe to reach a consensus on his health status. This comes after the lawyer of the striker rejected calls by the German Football Association (DFB), the German Football League (DFL) for a fifth magnetic test on the Ghanaian.

Tagoe took his club Hoffenheim to court over unlawful dismissal after claims by the German sides doctor that he had heart problems which resulted in the cancellation of his contract. But after Tagoe conducted a second test which cleared him to play, his contract was reinstated and his signing on fee promptly paid.

Since then two more tests have been conducted on the Ghanaian which have cleared the Ghanaian to continue with his career. This means three out of the four tests conducted have cleared Tagoe while the suspicious test carried out by Hoffenheim was the only that declared him unfit.

Yet his license to earn him the right to play competitively in the Bundesliga was not restored because Hoffenheim contested the second medical test. In consultation with the medical commission of the German Football Association (DFB), the German Football League (DFL) appointed a university hospitals professor to be a neutral evaluator.

But the so-called neutral investigator appointed by the DFL has been exposed as a very close friend of the Hoffenheim doctors who declared Tagoe unfit. This has resulted in Tagoes lawyer Markus Buchburger to rejecting the proposal by DFL, prompting the court to call for a consensus among the doctors.

Buchberger insist that five magnetic resonance testing on the Ghanaian within three weeks could harm Tagoe medically in future. "We do not want a new medical intervention, Buchberger told the Bild. The independent investigator can first get all the findings from all the doctors and the results could be discussed if necessary, even in a medical round.

"Tagoe has experienced in recent weeks more than three magnetic tests in recent weeks. This can not be healthy for the player in future. " It has been revealed that the Ghanaian striker could have been deported from Germany if his contract was not reinstated at the instance of the club owner.
