Male Under-20 team coach Sellas Tetteh has denied bribery allegations made against him by Ishmael Yartey.

The Black Satellites coach says Yartey failed to make the squad for next week's World Cup in Egypt because he had better options. Just a couple of days after Sellas announced his team for the finals which did not include Yartey, the Portugal-based midfielder accused the national manager of being induced into selecting his team.

But Sellas has told KickOffGhana that the allegations are untrue. On the left side of attack where Yartey play, there is the captain Dede Ayew and Opoku Agyemang who has played for the Black Stars and can play there. I picked which players will go to Egypt based on the needs of the team and in the past I have been proven right, he said.

We are focused on doing well at the World Cup so I wont let this distract the team. The Black Satellites are presently in Tunisia rounding up preparations before heading to Egypt for the Championship where Ghana kicks off against Uzbekistan on 26 September in Ismailia.

Ghana goes into the Fifa Under-20 World Cup as African Champions and are placed in Group D with Uzbekistan, England and Uruguay in the tournament which has 24 sides placed into six groups of four.
