Hearts of Oak will be deprived the services of Obed Ansah for a least two months after the influential midfielder broke his hand during a league match against rivals Asante Kotoko a fortnight ago.
Ansah was rushed to the hospital after sustaining the injury in the second half and underwent surgery.
The 24-year-old has been instrumental in the club's revival lately and has been told by doctors he needs close to eight weeks to recover fully. Ansah was Hearts topscorer last season with 8 goals.
